Jeremy Constant

Jeremy Constant has served as Concertmaster of the Sun Valley Music Festival since 2000. He is Assistant Concertmaster of the San Francisco Symphony and recently retired from his position as Concertmaster of the Marin Symphony. He plays a 1700 ex-Heberlein Stradivarius that was donated for his exclusive use. After winning the grand prize in the 1979 Du Maurier Competition, he studied with the fabled violinist Itzhak Perlman. An aviation enthusiast, Constant spent seven years pounding rivets and cutting aluminum to craft his own single-engine RV-7A monoplane, which he enjoys flying when not piloting his 1965 Aircoupe.
