Sunday, April 29: 2019 Honors Recital, an evening of outstanding individual student performances
Join the Sun Valley Music Festival for a fun, admission-free classical music performance in Hailey! The Festival’s Music Institute presents its signature concert of the spring, featuring 22 outstanding music students, selected to perform by a panel of faculty members.
Student-musicians in string, piano, and voice will perform a variety of solo and ensemble pieces, from Haydn, Mendelssohn, Mozart, and more.

The performance will culminate with the presentation of the 2019 Carol Nie Outstanding Music Student Award. Violinist and high school senior, Analicia Koeplin (shown above), was presented the 2018 award after her performance of Mozart’s Concerto No. 3 in G Major.
