Catherine Payne

Catherine Payne has appeared in solo and orchestra performances across the globe, and is a current San Francisco Symphony member. She’s served with the Boston Symphony Orchestra as second flutist, the Boston Pops Esplanade Orchestra (appearing often on Evening at Pops), Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra of Boston as Principal Flute, and Portland Symphony Orchestra. She studied at the Yale School of Music, the New England Conservatory, and Tufts University, graduating Magna Cum Laude as an English major.
